Still starting up :)

The last few weeks have been super interesting. I’ve been busy meeting all sorts of people talking about what we’re doing with Calculus Research. The orders have also started to trickle in — now the objective is to make them flow in.

Avirook is in America, writing about the American elections, from small towns in America we all know from popular cinema and books. Super interesting project, thinks me. You can follow it here. It should also get carried in the Economic Times.

As America fiscally melts, my timing seems to be interesting. I don’t really know how this is going to work out, since we are in the process of developing statistical research products for financial institutions investing in India. The way I see it, it’s in their interest now, more than ever before, to learn as much as they can about where they’re putting their money.

Incidentally, we’re looking for people in Hong Kong, Singapore, London, Berlin and New York who would be interested in working with us. Any financial types who’re out of a job looking for a switch?
