My Samsung LCD TV

So, I bought myself a Samsung LCD TV last year around this time from Jumbo Electronics in Noida. Unfortunately, despite all our tender, loving, care it’s been acting up recently. First in July, when Samsung replaced both boards inside, and then again over the last two weeks.

The problem is simple: both boards need to be replaced again — or the motherboard at the very least. Perhaps, the TV needs to be replaced. But Samsung, very cleverly, has put off taking care of the complaint since the 12th of October, 2008. And guess what, my warranty on the TV ran out yesterday, on the 22nd of October.

There is, of course, now no guarantee that the TV will get fixed any time soon, or at all.

I have emailed, called and put everything down on record. Now, I’m just going to have to wait and see if it’s time to go to consumer court.
